Q: What are wall decals?
A: Wall decals are graphic adhesive vinyl stickers that can be applied to walls or other surfaces. They are simple to install; just peel and stick! Wall decals are not permanent and are easily removed. Wall decals are an innovative and affordable way to express your creativity and personalize your space with our collection of unique designs.

Q: What are wall decals made of?
A: Wall decals are made from an ultra-thin, self-adhesive matte vinyl film.

Q: How do I apply the decals?
A: Application is a simple process of peel, place then stick with your hand. Freshly painted or cleaned walls should be completely dry before applying the product.  Completely dry may be longer than you think.  In some room environments that could mean a few weeks for every layer to be cured. Q: How long will my wall decal stay up on my wall?
A: Wall decals are as easy to remove as it is to install but left alone it will stay on your wall for 3-5 glorious, years. They should be applied away from direct heat and sunlight as heat can release the adhesive and cause the decals to peel. To clean, just gently wipe with a damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or cleaning agents. Outdoors, Wall Decals will last 2 to 3 years.

Q: Will the decal stick to any wall in my house?
A: Decals adhere to any clean, smooth surface without pretreatment.  With wallpaper, textured and finished wood surfaces, test a sample first for effect…then go hog wild. 

Q: Can I apply my wall decals to textured walls?
A: Slightly textured surfaces such as an orange peel texture are fine. Wall decals will not adhere to rough, textured or very porous surfaces. 

Q: How long should I wait before applying wall decals to freshly painted walls?
A: Newly painted surfaces should be allowed to dry for at least 2 weeks or even 3 weeks in humid or damp locations. This allows ample time for the paint to completely cure. The decals will adhere better and paint will not come off when the wall decals are removed.

Q: What other surfaces can wall decals be applied to?
A: Wall decals are awesome on smooth, non-porous surfaces such as ceilings, glass, mirrors, sealed concrete floors, smooth metal, tile, plastic and finished wood furniture. Surfaces must be smooth and clean. Walls must be dust and residue free.

Q: What type of paint do wall decals stick to best?
A: Wall decals stick best to matte, satin or semi-gloss paints.

Q: Will wall decals leave a residue or peel the paint when removed?
A: No! Wall Decals do not leave any permanent sticky residue. Depending on the condition of your painted surfaces when the wall decals were initially applied, there may be some paint flecking that will require minor paint touch ups after removal of the wall decals.

Q: Are wall decals easy to remove?
A: Wall decals are very easy to remove! Simply lift a corner or an edge with your fingernail and gently peel off the wall. Make sure to peel directly back on itself and slowly remove the decal in a 45 degree angle. For removal of wall decals from less porous surfaces such as glass, use a hairdryer (set on low heat) to warm the decal. This releases the adhesive and makes it even easier to peel off! Keep in mind that the less porous the surface the more effort it will take to remove Wall Decals.

Q: What do I do if an individual piece of art is too big for the area I’d like to install it?
A: The decal can be cut with a scissor or overlapped to suit your decorating needs.

Q: Can I clean my decal?
A: For cleaning, wipe panels with a damp cloth. Avoid the edges of the decal if possible.

Q: Where are Scribble decals made?
A: Our decals are made in the USA of nontoxic materials and inks.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express

Q: When will my order ship?
A: Our orders ship in 2 to 3 days for domestic orders.  We will contact you to inform you of any unexpected delay. For first class international orders, we ship Wednesday and Friday.

Q: Is the Material clear or opaque/white?
A: The material is an opaque white vinyl. You can't see through it so plan accordingly. That having been said we can print on a translucent material upon request.Just drop us a line and we'll do our darndest to work something out.

Q: How long do First Class International orders take to ship?
A: This is a tricky question to answer since it depends on where its shipped, and when. Typically it takes anywhere from a week to 6 weeks. I guess that is the trade-off for cheaper shipping.

Q: Can I get a custom size for an existing decal on your site?
A: The short answer is yes. The long answer is, yes, with the caveat that if it gets way too big we may need to do it in pieces instead of one big decal.

Q: I would like to order a large quantity of the same decal, can I get a discount for that?
A: Why yes you can, give a call or email us for the exact discount and turn time.

Q: I've got a picture/design that I would like you to replicate. where can I send you the picture??
A: Just send us an email through our custom form or give us a call.

Q: I am the director of an art school and want to buy one of your products with a purchase order. How do I do that?
A: We've not had good luck with POs from Schools or Non-profits so we don't accept them anymore. If you are interested in wholesale on an on going basis we would be happy to set something up.
